Located in the quaint town of North Stonington, Jonathan Edwards Winery

is situated on a beautiful 48-acre hilltop about nine miles from the Long Island

Sound. The Edwards family has taken a unique approach to providing you with

the best wine tasting experience possible. Jonathan Edwards handcrafts both

premium Napa Valley, California and Estate Connecticut wines to highlight each

coasts’ unique climate.


Connecticut Wines


CT Chardonnay …..................……State Code 20319

Ultra bright, fruit forward citrus bouquet of green apples and lemons, framed with light nuances of smoky vanilla oak from our large French barrels. This silky smooth, easy drinking wine pairs perfectly with seafood and fresh cheese.


CT Cabernet Franc …...................State Code 20103

JE’s only Estate grown red wine, one year of barrel aging highlights the cherry/blackberry fruit flavors and adds some vanilla highlights but keeps the tannins on the finish soft. Drink now or age for 3-5 years.


CT Pinot Gris ………..............…...State Code 20318

Harvested in September, this Pinot Gris is crisp and clean tasting with great acidity. Aged in stainless steel for 7 months, it pairs great with scallops or just about any fresh fish.


CT Gewurztraminer …...................State Code 21258

Based on a traditional dry German style recipe this vintage has really nice lavender and floral nose and lots of citrusy lemon and grapefruit notes in the taste. Very limited production of only 312 cases and spends 8 months in stainless steel barrels.


California Wines


RRV Pinot Grigio ….............……State Code 20104

Well rounded with just a hint of floral and fruit forward sweet/tropical characteristic.
 

NV Sauvignon Blanc .............….State Code 20317

Bright peach, tropical fruit and floral aromas yield to a crisp and zesty finish. This dry SB is fermented at cool temperatures to retain its liveliness in the glass and aged in stainless steel for 6 months before bottling.


Stone Table White ….............…..State Code 20173

A blend of Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay gives this wine a crisp clean taste with silky finish. Pineapple and stone fruit can be tasted on the pallet. Pairs perfect with grilled and baked fish.


Lodi Valley Zinfandel..................State Code 20105

This Zin was harvested on 100 year old vines. Super jammy with great fruit and spice. Great for grilling or pasta dishes.


Napa Valley Merlot ….................State Code 20171

Tones of cherry and cocoa make this Merlot one of our best.16 months of barrel aging give this wine a nice mellow mouth feel. Pair with red sauce pastas and beef.
 

Stone Table Red……..…………...State Code 20172

This robust and luscious red wine pulls together the earthy peat notes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Carignane. All wines were aged for 18 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels prior to blending. Drink now or age for 5-7years.

Generous and bold with notes of bramble berry and eucalyptus accompanied by mid-weight tannins.
 

Petite Syrah Dark ...............….....State Code 21257

This desert wine has gorgeous color and a sweet finish. Brambly fruit character is present throughout.
